I look at all that has happened this year and I am amazed. The strength of the Cleveland Photographic Society is wonderful. I find that the diversity is what makes us strong. I realize that CPS can’t be all things for all people, but we are offering such a varied array of information, programs and opportunities that are not available anywhere else in Northeast Ohio, and maybe beyond.
CPS is in the midst of finding out what a great Club we really are and we are reminded of that at every turn. With all that in mind, the members are taking a very important survey and attending our Town Hall meetings to ensure that the Board and Officers of CPS hear their concerns, desires and the direction they would like the club to move. To that end, the Officers and Board Members will review, evaluate and act on those recommendations.
I see a very bright future in store for CPS and I look forward to another great year of service and support from all the members of CPS. Starting a week from today, Mary Kay and I will be on our way to Hawaii for fourteen glorious days. We have contacted some wonderful folks from the Eyes of Hawaii Photography Club who have been ever so gracious with their time to setup a photo shoot at some of their favorite places and are even including some of their favorite models as well. Wow! What great Hawaiian hospitality and we are not even there yet.
Keep your eyes right here starting next Wednesday, we will be posting words and photos from Hawaii for your reading and viewing pleasure.
