Sunday was out last day in the Twin Cities, so we tried to make the most of it. We went to the Japanese Gardens in Bloomington, MN, the Como Zoo and Conservatory. The gardens were pristine. They were small but very nicely laid out and maintained.
The Zoo and Conservatory are free to the public and run completely on donations. There were no shortage of donations when we were there and the place is twice the size of Cleveland’s Botanical Gardens. Very interesting place to visit with much to see and do.
There was a special exhibit on butterflies at the Zoo that had over 200 species of butterflies to be seen as well.
